Ochre Studio is an interior design studio based in Melbourne, founded by Renee Richards.

I hail from an Events Management background where I spent a decade project managing large scale events.

Next I co-founded and ran a graphic design studio for ten years, this helped me to foster a deep love and appreciation of quality design.

During this time, with the knowledge I gained from my family who operate a property development company, I project managed two major renovations as an owner builder, one of which won a BDAV award in 2013 for best residential renovation in it’s category.

My experience in project management and home renovation coupled with my knowledge and love of design, has given me the ideal combination of skills to offer clients not only interior design, but also, guidance with managing their building project from concept to completion.

Having a family of my own, I understands the importance of a practical home for your family, to live in, as well as beautifully designed and finished.

My inspiration is supporting busy families through the entire process of renovating or building, so they are able to create a home that is equal parts beautiful and functional.
